Treatment for Influenza
There are both treatments that come easy access to people and other treatments such as immunisations are given by a doctor in serious situations or can help prevent the virus.
Treatment for symptoms does not necessarily make the virus go away but it helps the body feel better;
Rest- until the virus is fully resolved
Fluids- drinking enough fluids everyday so you do not become dehydrated
Panadol- is an easy access to anyone and helps control the fever
Immunisations Against the Flu
Yearly immunisation against the virus is highly recommended for people who are most likely at risk such as the elderly, pregnant women and those people that live with family or friends that have a high risk of catching the virus.

Preventative Measures for Influenza
A very effective measure to prevent the flu would be a vaccination yearly to avoid any sort of viruses and symptoms. Also good health also comes into preventing the flu by washing your hands daily to prevent the spread of germs. Avoiding close contact with people who are sick, also avoid rubbing your eyes and touching your nose as when people touch objects germs are easily passed on with something that was contaminated. Another preventative measure would be frequently using disinfectant around your house in case for any contaminated furniture.
